Identifying Key Challenges
Gabriel manages a vast network of cameras, but the information they provide is not centralized. Beyond simply capturing footage, we need to explore ways to extract more value from these cameras. What additional insights or solutions can we develop to maximize their potential? We were already aware of a gap between the business and how to scale, what users wanted, and what we were actually offering. We began the discovery process with an interview involving 10 selected users, both internal and external, to understand if our hypotheses were confirmed.

Lack of clear value
44% of respondents could not identify any value in the product beyond viewing images.
After conducting internal research with our current product, we explored similar products in the market. Following that, we performed the 5 Whys exercise to delve deeper into our problem. Then, we created a User Story Mapping to visualize the user's journey, prioritize features, and ensure that our product development aligns with user needs and business goals.
Crafting the Solution
After refining the initial wireframes, we began testing and identifying the key touchpoints in each flow, for an initial version. We focused on understanding the essential elements each user journey should include in the layout. During this phase, we also evaluated how the layout could effectively accommodate these elements while providing a seamless and intuitive experience for the user.
Final Screens
This initial release focused on delivering a highly navigable map, image analysis, real-time alert monitoring and manager users. Each screen was designed to provide users with clear insights, allowing them to seamlessly track events and respond to incidents more efficiently. The interface prioritizes ease of use, ensuring that critical information is readily available at a glance.
